Job summary

Quantum Care, Royston, is seeking a Night Care Assistant to provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents at Melwood Grange Care Home. Shifts run 9.30pm–7.30am, with 20–35 hours per week, and roles are offered as full-time or part-time permanent positions.

Full training is provided; a willingness to pursue Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care is encouraged. Aged 18+ and ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; full training provided.
• Willing to undertake all aspects of care to meet residents' physical, emotional and social needs.
• Training will be provided; Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care may be pursued.
• Must be aged 18 or over to apply.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and support, including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting, and assisting with meals, hydration and nutritional care.
• Assisting residents with daily activities to promote independence.

• Ensuring residents are safe and comfortable through the night.

Contract: Full Time or Part Time- Perm

Hour: 20 – 35 hours per week

Pay: £13.47 per hour weekdays & £14.47 per hour weekends

Shift Times: 9.30pm to 7.30am – Weekdays and alternative Weekends

We are seeking a Night Care Assistant to join our welcoming team at Melwood Grange Care Home in Royston.

As a Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate person‑cantered care and support residents with respect and dignity to maintain independence.

What You’ll Bring

• You’ll be naturally compassionate and patient, it is not necessary to have previous experience of working in a similar care environment because as long as you have a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first‑class training will do the rest.
• You’ll be willing to undertake all aspects of care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents.
• Training will be provided.
• A willingness to be trained and to achieve Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• The ability to work shifts (including weekends and evenings).
• You must be aged 18 years or over to apply for this job.
