Quantum Care is seeking a Care Assistant at Bushey to deliver compassionate, person-centred care for residents in a luxury 72-bed home. You will support daily living activities, promote independence and work as part of a caring team.

We are seeking a

Care Assistant to join our welcoming team at

Bushey. This luxury, 72 bed state-of-the-art care home offers exceptional residential, dementia and respite care in elegant surroundings, featuring beautifully designed lounges and dining areas, a hair and beauty salon, spa room, cinema, café, spacious en-suite bedrooms, and landscaped gardens, all within easy reach of Bushey’s vibrant local community

As a

Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate person-cantered care and support residents with respect and dignity to maintain independence.

What You’ll Bring

• It is not necessary to have previous experience of working in a similar care environment because, as long as you are an empathetic individual who has a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first-class training will do the rest.
• You will be able to undertake all aspects of caring for older people with compassion and respect in order to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents.
• Our staff have access to first class induction training and ongoing learning and development opportunities including the opportunity to work towards industry recognised qualifications.
• Our Homes operate on a 24/7, 365-day basis therefore you will need to be able to work shifts (including weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays).
• You must be aged 18 years or over to apply for this job.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and support, including assistance with washing, dressing, grooming and toileting, as well as assisting with meals, hydration and nutritional care.
• Assisting residents with daily activities promoting independence
• Building positive and professional relationships with residents, families and colleagues
• Follow individual personalised care plans
• Working as a part of a team to deliver high quality of person- centred care
