Quantum Care in Bishop's Stortford is seeking a Night Care Assistant to join our Elm View home, a luxury 78-bed setting focused on hotel-style living and personalised care. You will provide compassionate, person-centred overnight care to help residents maintain independence with dignity.

The role is full time, 35 hours per week, with nights from 9.30pm to 7.30am, including weekends on a rotating basis, and offers enhanced pay for weekend and bank holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• No prior care exp required; training provided.
• Willing to meet physical, emotional and social needs of residents.
• Training will be provided to support development.
• Willing to achieve Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Ability to work shifts including weekends and evenings.
• Must be aged 18 or over to apply.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and support, including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting, plus meals, hydration and nutrition.
• Assisting residents with daily activities promoting independence.
• Building positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Following individual personalised care plans.
• Working as part of a team to deliver high quality, person-centred care.
• Ensuring residents are safe and comfortable through the night.

Pay: £13.47 per hour weekdays & £14.47 per hour weekends

As a Night Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate person‑cantered care and support residents with respect and dignity to maintain independence.

What You’ll Bring

• You’ll be naturally compassionate and patient, it is not necessary to have previous experience of working in a similar care environment because as long as you have a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first‑class training will do the rest.
• You’ll be willing to undertake all aspects of care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents.
• Training will be provided.
• A willingness to be trained and to achieve Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• The ability to work shifts (including weekends and evenings).
• You must be aged 18 years or over to apply for this job.
