Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a Night Care Assistant at Jubilee Court Care Home in Stevenage. The role offers full or part-time permanent contracts with night hours (9.30pm–7.30am) and pay of £13.47/hour on weekdays and £14.47/hour on weekends.

Location is Hayward Close, Stevenage, with strong focus on person-centred care and resident comfort throughout the night. Training is provided, and progression opportunities exist within a well established charity care provider.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates empathy and patience with residents.
• Willing to undertake all aspects of care as needed.
• Training will be provided to support care duties.
• Aspires to achieve Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and evenings.
• Applicants must be aged 18 or over.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support (washing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Assist with meals, hydration and nutritional care.

We are seeking a Night Care Assistant to join our welcoming team at Jubilee Court Care Home in Stevenage. Located in a quiet residential area with excellent transport links, Jubilee Court is a modern, purpose-built 91-bed care home providing residential, dementia and respite care. With beautifully landscaped gardens, excellent facilities and a strong focus on person-centred care, Jubilee Court offers a supportive environment where residents and colleagues can thrive.

As a Night Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate person-cantered care and support residents with respect and dignity to maintain independence.

What You'll Bring

• You'll be naturally compassionate and patient, it is not necessary to have previous experience of working in a similar care environment because as long as you have a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first-class training will do the rest.
• You'll be willing to undertake all aspects of care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents.
• Training will be provided.
• A willingness to be trained and to achieve Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• The ability to work shifts (including weekends and evenings).
• You must be aged 18 years or over to apply for this job.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
