Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a Night Care Assistant for Elm View Care Home in Bishop's Stortford. The role is full-time, 35 hours per week, nights 9:30pm–7:30am, with pay £13.47 per hour on weekdays and £14.47 per hour on weekends.

Training is provided; you will support residents with personal care, meals and daily activities, while building trust and ensuring safety through the night. A Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care is encouraged, with progression opportunities and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Must be compassionate and patient with residents.
• Willing to undertake all aspects of care to meet physical, emotional and social needs.
• Training provided including Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Able to work shifts including weekends and evenings.
• Must be aged 18+ to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: washing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Assist residents with meals, hydration and nutrition.
• Support residents to maintain independence in daily activities.
• Follow individual care plans and work as part of a team.

We are seeking a Night Care Assistant to join our Hotel Styled Boutique feel Care Home in Bishop's Stortford, a contemporary luxury 78-bed residential home. Elm View Care Home is positioned as a modern, purpose-built care home with a strong focus on high-end facilities, hotel-style living, and personalised care.

Contract: Full Time - Perm

Hour: 35 hours per week

What You’ll Bring

• You’ll be naturally compassionate and patient, it is not necessary to have previous experience of working in a similar care environment because as long as you have a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first‑class training will do the rest.
• You’ll be willing to undertake all aspects of care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents.
• Training will be provided.
• A willingness to be trained and to achieve Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• The ability to work shifts (including weekends and evenings).
• You must be aged 18 years or over to apply for this job.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and support, including assistance with washing, dressing, grooming and toileting, as well as assisting with meals, hydration and nutritional care.
• Assisting residents with daily activities promoting independence
• Building positive and professional relationships with residents, families and colleagues
• Follow individual personalised care plans
• Working as a part of a team to deliver high quality of person- centred care
• Ensuring residents are safe and comfortable through the night.
