Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a Night Care Assistant for Riverside Lodge Care Home in Rickmansworth. The role offers full-time perm hours with 30 hours per week, and a care-focused environment across a 75-bed home that includes dementia and respite care.

You will provide compassionate, person-centred care, support residents with daily activities, and follow care plans to maintain dignity and independence. Training is provided, with opportunities to develop within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required if you have a positive attitude and good communication.
• Willing to undertake all aspects of care to meet residents' needs.
• Training provided and Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care encouraged.
• Able to work shifts, including weekends and evenings, and aged 18+.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals and hydration.
• Assist residents with daily activities promoting independence.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Follow individual care plans and work as part of a team to deliver high-quality care.
• Ensure residents are safe and comfortable through the night.

We are seeking a Night Care Assistant to join our welcoming team at Riverside Lodge Care Home in Rickmansworth. This luxury 75-bed care home offers exceptional residential, dementia and respite care in elegant surroundings, featuring stylish lounges and dining areas, a hair and beauty salon, cinema, café, spacious en-suite bedrooms, and beautifully landscaped gardens, all in the heart of Rickmansworth

As a Night Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate person-cantered care and support residents with respect and dignity to maintain independence.

What You’ll Bring

• You’ll be naturally compassionate and patient, it is not necessary to have previous experience of working in a similar care environment because as long as you have a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first-class training will do the rest.
• You’ll be willing to undertake all aspects of care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents.
• Training will be provided.
• A willingness to be trained and to achieve Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• The ability to work shifts (including weekends and evenings).
• You must be aged 18 years or over to apply for this job.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
