Job summary

Jigsaw Homes Group is seeking a Night Assistant to work across the Wigan and Leigh areas, ensuring security, carrying welfare checks and supporting residents during night hours. You will collaborate with staff and partner agencies, and engage residents with activities to promote safe, healthy communities.

The role involves lone working, using IT systems for reporting and keeping records, and contributing to a supportive night-time environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience working with residents in a support or housing context is desirable.
• Ability to use IT and software for reporting and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Ensure security of buildings and conduct regular health and safety checks.
• Carry welfare checks, report repairs and provide guidance to residents.
• Engage residents at night and deliver activities to build skills and community.
• Liaise with colleagues and partner agencies; lone working is expected.
