Job summary

Home Group Limited in Wakefield is seeking a Housing Concierge to support residents and maintain safe, well-kept buildings. This permanent part-time role (30 hours per week) runs Monday to Friday, 4:00pm–10:00pm, with DBS check provided.

You will monitor CCTV and doors, greet residents, handle repairs coordination, and contribute to a friendly neighbourhood environment. Benefits include health cash plan, pension, and instant pay access through Stream.

Qualifications

• Calm under pressure; strong communication.
• Experience in supporting others, either personally or professionally.
• Good judgement and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Walk around the building checking CCTV, fire doors and communal areas
• Greeting customers and visitors, picking up repairs or cleaning
• First-line support for customers when wider team unavailable
• Monitor and respond to incidents calmly, quickly and fairly
• Work with colleagues and partners to manage anti-social behaviour
