Job summary

Focus Group in Exeter is seeking a results-focused New Business Sales Manager to lead a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs). You will coach, develop and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, driving revenue and performance across the Southwest region.

You'll empower your team with hands-on coaching, set targets, review pipelines, and run training sessions on consultative selling and market knowledge. A proven B2B sales leadership background is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven success in leading B2B sales teams.
• Strong coaching and feedback abilities.
• Experience coaching teams from prospecting to close.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coaching BDMs on prospecting, cold outreach and finding opportunities.
• Developing consultative selling, objection handling and closing skills; giving regular coaching and feedback.
• Owning team targets and KPIs, collaborating with Sales leadership.
• Using pipeline and performance data to plan growth and conversion.
• Running training sessions on sales technique, products and market.
