Job summary

Millbrook Business Finance Ltd is seeking a Telesales Manager to lead and develop the Sales Development function. You’ll be on the sales floor, coaching in real time, and driving a high-performing SDR team to generate quality SME opportunities for Account Managers and Brokers.

You’ll report to the Sales Director and collaborate with Marketing and Account Management to maximize revenue and pipeline, while mentoring teams to hit ambitious targets.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SDR/telesales or business development teams.
• Ability to coach and develop salespeople to improve results.
• Experience with performance management and accountability.
• CRM and sales process management (HubSpot desirable).
• Using data and reporting to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Building structured, repeatable lead generation processes.
• Creating motivated, engaged and high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of SDRs to achieve targets.
• Drive outbound B2B prospecting activity across UK businesses.
• Manage and qualify inbound finance enquiries.
• Implement lead generation strategies to support growth.
• Monitor conversion rates, activity and team KPIs.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Account Management teams.
• Deliver regular coaching, call reviews and development plans.
• Create a high-energy, high-performance sales culture.
