Job summary

CareTech, a leading UK specialist social care provider, is recruiting a New Business Development Manager for the South and Central region. This permanent, full-time role requires extensive travel across Southern England and a track record of growing services and partnerships.

You will build strategic plans, present compelling business cases, and work with commissioners to secure new developments, ensuring ROI and added value for people using care services.

Qualifications

• Experience as a BDM delivering New Specialist Supported Living services in social care.
• Proven ability to deliver targets and drive growth.
• Strong sales methodology knowledge.
• Understanding of Specialist Supported Housing requirements and CQC guidance.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Promotes CareTech's values in placing the service users and the people we support at the centre of all decision making.
• Be comfortable presenting information in large meetings both in person and via video link.
• Capable of managing processes that require a robust approach to policy.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and execute a New Business Development plan for the South and Central region based on sound market intelligence.
• Present business cases for approval of new projects.
• Collaborate with operations and support functions to ensure developments are delivered on time and to ROI/EBITDA levels.
• Develop relationships with Local Commissioners to position CareTech as a preferred provider in Health & Social Care.
• Work with development and housing partners to maintain a healthy pipeline of community-based accommodation solutions.
• Promote CareTech's social care expertise and host regional events.
• Maintain a database of current and potential partners and funding sources.
• Carry out other duties as requested commensurate with the role.
