Network Operations Specialist (Previous Relevant Experience is Required), Stoke-on-Trent

This role is based in Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom, with EU work permit required. The successful candidate will join Telent's Engineering Team, supporting the nation's critical infrastructure through a 24/7 NOC environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
3. Action Service Requests and allocate/despatch tickets to support teams and service providers.
4. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
5. Coordinate traffic management with relevant stakeholders.
6. Communicate with customers regarding network incidents.
7. Liaise with utility companies during power-related network issues.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally in a NOC environment.
• Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills across all levels of seniority.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
