Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and drive shared solutions, working closely with technical experts who are proud of their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex, critical tasks to build and maintain the nation's vital infrastructure connectivity and security 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician provides administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. This role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:
  1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
  2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  3. Action Service Requests.
  4. Allocate and dispatch tickets to support teams, field engineers, and service providers.
  5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  6. Organise traffic management, coordinating providers, control teams, and field resources.
  7. Communicate with customers about network incidents.
  8. Coordinate with utility companies regarding power issues affecting the network.
Who You Are:

Experienced in supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
