Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to making an impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex, critical work to maintain the nation's critical infrastructure connectivity and security 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incidents are resolved per procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:

1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
3. Action Service Requests.
4. Allocate/despatch tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other service providers.
5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
6. Coordinate traffic management with providers, control teams, and field resources.
7. Communicate incident updates to customers.
8. Coordinate with utility companies during power-related network issues.

Who you are:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
