This role is with Telent, located in Portsmouth, Hampshire, United Kingdom. The position requires an EU work permit.

Job Overview:

As a part of our Engineering Team at Telent, you'll have the opportunity to innovate and collaborate with technical experts to make a significant impact. Join a high-performing team working on complex, critical infrastructure that keeps the nation connected and protected 24/7.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution in line with procedures and KPIs.
2. Work within a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.
3. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding according to KPIs.
4. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
5. Action Service Requests and dispatch tickets to support teams and service providers.
6. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
7. Coordinate traffic management with providers, control teams, and field resources.
8. Communicate with customers regarding network incidents.
9. Coordinate with utility companies during power-related network issues.

Candidate Profile:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise across all levels of seniority.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
