Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts to make a significant impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical work to keep the nation's infrastructure connected and protected 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will support the NOC engineering team administratively, ensuring incident resolution according to procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:
  1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
  2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  3. Action Service Requests.
  4. Allocate/despatch tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other service providers.
  5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  6. Coordinate traffic management with providers, regional control, and field resources.
  7. Communicate with customers about network incidents.
  8. Work with utility companies during power loss issues.
Who you are:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Good communication skills, capable of liaising with people at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
