Network Operations Specialist (Previous Relevant Experience is Required), Wakefield

Join Telent's Engineering Team to innovate and develop solutions that impact critical infrastructure. As a NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician, you'll provide administrative support to the engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. This role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:

1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding according to KPIs.
2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
3. Action Service Requests.
4. Allocate and dispatch tickets to technical support, field engineers, and service providers.
5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
6. Coordinate traffic management with providers, control teams, and field resources.
7. Communicate incident updates to customers.
8. Coordinate with utility companies during power-related network issues.

Requirements:

• Experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably in a NOC environment.
• Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills for liaising at all levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
