RF Network Engineer

Location: UK with travel

Salary: From £40,000 plus allowances, bonus and benefits

We are working with a technology organisation that designs, deploys and supports RF and networking solutions across the UK and internationally. They are looking for an RF Network Engineer to join their field team and support a mix of system commissioning, customer site work and ongoing technical support.

About the role

You will be travelling to customer sites across the UK and occasionally abroad to commission systems, support live environments and work closely with the systems engineering team. The role offers variety, hands on technical work and the chance to develop your skill set across RF, IP networks and system integration.

What you will be doing
  • Commissioning systems at customer sites across the UK and overseas
  • Supporting and monitoring stadium systems and other deployed infrastructure
  • Working with systems engineers on design and implementation projects
  • Carrying out FAT testing for system deployments
  • Delivering training and technical support to operators and end users
What you will bring
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage challenges on site
  • Basic RF knowledge covering areas such as dBm power levels, spectrum analyser use, signal generators, cabling and antenna types
  • Willingness to travel and work on site as required
Useful extras
  • Rigging experience
  • Networking knowledge including routing and IP addressing
  • SC Clearance or the ability to obtain it
