Job summary

A technology recruitment firm is seeking a Network Engineer for a 3-month hybrid contract based in Northampton. The successful candidate will manage BAU and Projects requests while reviewing and creating Firewall rules using Check Point technology. Ideal candidates will have strong experience with Check Point and an ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders. Pay is competitive, with a rate of £450-£550 per day inside IR35, requiring 2 days onsite per week.

Network Engineer - 3 Month Contract - Hybrid - Northampton

VIQU have partnered with a customer based in Northampton who are seeking a Network Engineer who specialises in Check Point Firewalls.

Responsibilities

The successful Network Engineer will own BAU and Projects request, reviewing, expanding and creating Firewall rules within Check Point to allow access to relevant systems.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have SME knowledge of CheckPoint and be comfortable engaging with Stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into compliant Firewall rules.

Experience within a complex hybrid (Cloud and OnPrem) environment is essential.
