Job summary

Balfour Beatty is recruiting a Mechanical Project Engineer for the Net Zero Teesside project based at the Redcar and Cleveland site. You will assist the Construction Manager and Engineering Manager with planning and daily execution, managing submittals, material delivery, schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities include ensuring packages meet programme, safety and quality standards, maintaining design and technical records, and contributing to QA and change control processes using BIM 360 Field

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• Experience in project engineer roles or progressive construction trades.
• High integrity and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and daily execution of the construction project.
• Maintain project schedule, submittals, materials delivery, and budgets.
• Ensure packages meet programme, safety, quality standards, with proper documentation and records.
• Produce and review WPP/ITP four weeks before works start.
• Coordinate with QS on cost estimates and change events.
• Utilise BIM 360 Field for QA tours, diaries, and reporting.
