Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is delivering the Net Zero Teesside project from a site in Redcar and Cleveland. The Section Engineer will oversee civil engineering and construction activities, coordinating setting out,RAMS, permits and technical checks to ensure safe, compliant delivery.

The role involves collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, managing records, progress and handover information on a major infrastructure programme.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Section Engineer or similar civil delivery roles.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, RAMS and permits with competence.
• Experience leading engineering control and records management.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering control for the allocated section of works.
• Review drawings, permits, RAMS and inspection plans before works start.
• Coordinate setting out, survey control and technical checks on site.
