Hafod Housing Association Limited seeks a Neighbourhood Coach to work across our Cardiff sites, building strong tenant relationships and helping residents achieve their home and community goals. You will travel across our sites, use coaching techniques, and empower tenants to find solutions while maintaining accurate records.
This part-time role (20 hours weekly) requires a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
As a Neighbourhood Coach at Hafod, you’ll be at the heart of our communities, building strong relationships with tenants and helping them to get the most from their homes, neighbourhoods and opportunities.
Working as part of a regional multi-disciplinary team, you’ll manage your own patch of around 225-250 homes. You’ll get to know your tenants, understand what matters to them and work alongside them to identify their goals, overcome challenges and sustain successful tenancies.
This is much more than traditional housing management. You’ll take a person-centred and coaching approach, empowering tenants to find solutions, build confidence and achieve their goals. You’ll also play an important part in creating thriving neighbourhoods by working closely with colleagues, communities and local partners.
This role involves travelling independently across our sites and services as part of day‑to‑day duties. Because of this, you'll need to hold a full, valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle. If you use your own vehicle for work, you'll also need appropriate insurance for business use
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who shares our values and is passionate about working alongside people to help them thrive in their homes and communities.
We’ll review all applications and if you’re shortlisted, we’ll get in touch to arrange an interview.
Interviews will be at St.Hilary Court, Cardiff on 19th October 2026.
If you’re successful at the end of the recruitment process, we’ll offer you the role and begin your pre-employment checks. This includes confirming your right to work and completing an enhanced DBS check, which we’ll organise and pay for.
