As a Community Housing Manager, you'll deliver a customer-focused housing management service across a regional patch, taking ownership of tenancy and neighbourhood issues and finding practical solutions for our customers. You'll regularly inspect communal areas, manage cases of anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches, support customers to sustain their tenancies and help ensure our communities remain safe and well maintained. You'll also oversee service charge budgets for the schemes you manage, work closely with internal teams and external partners, and identify and support vulnerable customers through our safeguarding procedures.
This is a part-time role, working full days on Thursday and Friday, plus a half day on Wednesday, with flexibility to work either the morning or afternoon.
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
You’ll have a strong understanding of the issues that can affect customers and their tenancies, including safeguarding and the needs of vulnerable customers. You’ll be comfortable taking ownership of cases, using your initiative to solve problems and working with a diverse range of people. Knowledge of tenancy and estate management, experience building effective partnerships with other agencies and confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook will help you succeed in the role.
