We are seeking an experienced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Level II X-Ray to support our commitment to quality and safety. The successful candidate will perform x‑ray NDT techniques on aerospace components, ensuring our fabricated components meet stringent specifications and customer requirements.

This role is ideal for an experienced NDT professional who takes pride in precision, safety and quality – and who thrives in a collaborative, technically challenging environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform NDT inspection using radiographic testing.
  • Interpret test results to assess the integrity and quality of welds and fabricated components.
  • Ensure all inspections comply with relevant industry standards, customer specifications, and company procedures.
  • Maintain detailed inspection records and generate comprehensive reports.
  • Stay updated with the latest NDT technologies and best practices.
  • Calibrate and maintain NDT equipment and ensure safe operation in line with radiation safety procedures.
  • Work closely with Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities and help maintain compliance with internal and external audits.
  • Support training and mentoring of junior technicians or apprentices where required.
Essential Qualifications
  • Certified to EN4179 / NAS410 standards in relevant NDT method.
  • Proven experience in NDT inspection within the welding and fabrication industry.
  • Strong understanding of NADCAP, AS9100, and industry-specific quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
