Job description
Role Overview

The School of the Biological Sciences and the School of the Physical Sciences are seeking a full‑time Natural Sciences Tripos (NST) Co‑ordinator to lead the co‑ordination, administration and delivery of the University’s flagship Natural Sciences Tripos (NST) course. The NST involves a network of Academic and Professional Services colleagues across two Schools and 16 departments, with more than 2,300 students spread across three years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of teaching and examinations across the programme and act as the point of contact for queries and requests from students, academics, colleges and university administration.
  • Develop policy and refine processes to increase efficiency and support schools and departments in delivering the NST course; engage with central transformation programmes relating to education and contribute to central reviews, consultations and forums.
  • Act as secretary to the NST Management Committee and the Committee of the Directors of Education for the Biological Sciences; organise meetings, brief committees and chairs, follow up action points, and proactively highlight internal and external developments affecting delivery of the NST course.
  • Build a strong working relationship with chairs and colleagues across both Schools, leading and influencing discussions relating to NST.
