Briggs Amasco Ltd is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager for a nationwide role covering specialist business customers. You will manage existing clients and develop new opportunities, travelling across the UK to secure margin targets.

The ideal candidate has construction sector awareness, strong numeric and communication skills, and can work independently with minimal supervision. The position carries a competitive salary with car allowance, bonus potential and pension, and requires

Qualifications

• BDM experience essential.
• Graduate with a Construction based qualification.
• Must be willing to travel nationwide in the UK.
• Independent worker with excellent Maths, English & Communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a national area business plan to achieve margin targets.
• Manage existing client relationships and acquire new clients.
• Promote group products where possible.
• Develop relationships with end users who own premises.
• Develop and maintain Council approved status where applicable.
• Deliver sales/technical CPD presentations to Clients/Surveyors and decision makers to win business.
• Provide site surveys, technical guidance and prepare proposal specifications with Branch staff.
• Coordinate with Branch Manager/National Sales Manager on margin potential.
• Maintain a project quote and specification tracking system.
• Collaborate with Suppliers and Branch/Head Office to exceed customer service requirements.
• Support contract processes at order stage to ensure profitable outcomes.
• Analyse market intelligence and report on competitor activity.
