Job summary

Novus Property Solutions is seeking a Business Development Manager – Construction to drive profitable opportunities across new build, extensions, refurbishment and recladding sectors. You will nurture strategic relationships, manage framework opportunities and lead initiatives across the Midlands or North of England.

You will travel regularly, working a 37.5-hour week with a home-based hybrid arrangement. A strong background in construction BD and a track record of securing major contracts are

Qualifications

• Significant experience in business development within construction.
• Strong track record of securing new contracts and converting high-value bid opportunities.
• Commercially astute with ability to engage senior stakeholders across public and private sectors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with framework providers and procurement leads across key regions.
• Progress upcoming mini-competitions, direct awards and open-market tenders aligned to growth plans.
• Build relationships with housing associations, local authorities, universities, NHS Trusts, and private developers.
• Generate a healthy pipeline of opportunities between £2m–£10m across new build, refurbishment and recladding projects.
• Collaborate with Bid, Estimating, Operations and Commercial teams to support bid qualifications and win strategies.
