This is a high‑impact, relationship‑led role focused on owning, nurturing and growing the company's national accounts. You will take ownership of a portfolio of national customers, act as a trusted partner, strategic adviser and enthusiastic ambassador for the brand.

The role is permanent work from home, with regular UK‑wide travel for client meetings, events and conferences.

Key responsibilities will include:
Account Ownership & Growth
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key national accounts, building long‑term, high‑trust relationships.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer structures, decision‑makers and operational needs.
  • Proactively manage accounts through structured plans, regular check‑ins, on‑site visits and insight‑led conversations.
  • Identify and deliver upsell and cross‑sell opportunities within existing customers.
  • Provide clear reporting on account performance, forecasting and growth.
Communication, Influence & Presentation
  • Clearly articulate the company's products and technology in a simple, compelling way.
  • Represent the company at national industry events, conferences and exhibitions, raising brand visibility and generating opportunities.
Commercial & Analytical Insight
  • Analyse account data, usage trends and market insights to drive growth and inform strategy.
  • Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities to strengthen the company's market position.
Skills, Behaviours & Attributes
Essential:
  • A charismatic, professional communicator with strong presence and credibility
  • Confident presenter, able to hold a room and engage large audiences
  • Have prior experience in selling products rather than service
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Numerate and analytical, comfortable using data and reporting tools
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
  • Proactive, inquisitive and naturally relationship‑led
  • Highly organised, able to manage workload and diary independently
  • Comfortable using PowerPoint, Excel, CRM systems and digital tools
  • Flexible and willing to travel nationally, including attending events for extended periods
Desirable:
  • Experience selling into local authorities or the public sector
  • Experience within a print manufacturing or similar environment
Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in account management or business development
  • Proven experience managing and growing customer relationships
  • Experience working with or selling to local authorities (advantageous)
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
