Job description

A Richmond upon Thames-based household is seeking a Part-time Nanny to care for their toddler. All general nanny duties are required for this role, with a strong focus on the child’s safety, development, and daily routines. The ideal candidate will be warm, experienced, and confident in supporting early years development through engaging, age-appropriate activities. Mandarin-speaking skills would be a huge bonus, though English is essential. The family has two small dogs, so the nanny must be comfortable around pets. A minimum of 5 years’ childcare experience is required for this role. A valid first aid qualification is require.

Working hours

Morning hours, 3–4 hours per day, 3 days per week

Duties
  • assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles
  • bathing the child and maintaining proper hygiene routines
  • ensuring the child’s safety, wellbeing, and overall development
  • establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines
  • engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as park visits
  • encouraging early literacy by reading books to the child
  • preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the child
  • keeping the child’s bedroom and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
