Overview

A family in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire is seeking an experienced live-out, sole-charge nanny to care for their 15-month-old child.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional nanny with strong toddler experience, confident in following routines and supporting early childhood development.

Responsibilities

• Sole-charge care of a 15 month old, providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
• Supporting daily routines: sterilisation of child's utensils, naps and sleep schedules
• Planning and leading educational activities to encourage developmental milestones (sensory play, music, reading, messy play, gross/fine motor play)
• Organising and attending local classes, playgroups, and outings (walks, park, library, soft play etc.)
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks; menu planning in line with family preferences
• Keeping a daily log of meals, naps, activities, and milestones for parents
• Monitoring and restocking supplies (nappies, wipes, formula, creams, clothing sizes)
• Ensuring toddler's equipment, highchairs, prams, and toys are cleaned and maintained

Light Housework – Child Related

• Child's Laundry and occasional ironing
• Keeping the kitchen and living areas tidy after use
• Loading/unloading the dishwasher
• General light housekeeping to support the smooth running of the household (family has no pets)

Dad works from home full-time, and Mum works from home two days per week. The nanny must be comfortable working in a household where parents will be at home.

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 8:30am - 6.00pm

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience with toddlers
• Early years childcare qualification (CACHE Level 3, NNEB, NVQ, Norland, or equivalent preferred)
• Paediatric First Aid trained
• Enhanced DBS on the update service
• Knowledge of early years development and EYFS principles
• Confident in nutrition planning
• Non-smoker
• Driver not essential
