Job description

Multi Skilled Engineer - Up to £45k + Pension + 22 Days Holiday - Rotational Day and Night shift options.

We are looking for a highly motivated Multi Skilled Engineer to join a well-established toughened glass manufacturer, established since 1996 and looking to expand their workforce. This role is based in Prescott and offers excellent opportunities for career development and progression.

As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be fault finding, dealing with breakdowns and supporting production. On site machines include, Glass Edge working machines, Glass tempering furnaces, Glass lamination and drilling machines.

You’ll work both independently and within a team to ensure all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This position is ideally suited to a Multi Skilled Engineer looking to take the next step in their career, with the potential to progress. You’ll bring technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a proactive, hands‑on approach to every task.

Required Multi Skilled Engineer Experience

• City and Guilds or NVQ Certification
• Knowledge of AC-DC drives and Relays, Contactors, Sensors, Pressure switches
• Knowledge of Pneumatic devices
• Understanding of schematic drawings
• Knowledge of PLC controlled equipment
• Electrical Bias
• Mechanical Disassembly

As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be expected to demonstrate sound health and safety practices, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the smooth delivery of projects on a day-to-day basis.
