Job summary

A higher education provider is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to undertake maintenance and refurbishment activities across multiple campuses. Responsibilities include performing preventative and reactive maintenance, ensuring health and safety compliance, and managing documentation. Ideal candidates will have relevant qualifications such as the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and experience in building maintenance. Qualifications

• Certification in Wiring Regulations required.
• Experience with Electrical Installations or NVQ equivalent.
• Manual skills and knowledge of refurbishment techniques needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Maintain buildings and equipment across GBS UK estates.
• Assist in the planning of refurbishment projects.

Skills

18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification

City & Guilds Level 2 and/or Level 3 in Electrical Installations

Previous experience in building maintenance

Manual skills, knowledge of refurbishment techniques

Familiarity with COSHH requirements

Interpersonal skills

Full, Clean Driving License
