Job summary

A higher education provider is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to maintain, install, and refurbish buildings and equipment across its UK campuses. Candidates need to hold 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification and should have previous experience in building maintenance. The role involves preventative maintenance, health and safety compliance, and flexibility to accommodate business hours, as well as travel across campuses. Qualifications

• Must have 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Electrical Installations required.
• Experience in building maintenance including M&E systems preferred.
• Manual skills and refurbishment knowledge necessary.
• Must possess a flexible and proactive work attitude.
• Knowledge of COSHH for equipment and chemicals needed.
• Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork required.
• Full, Clean Driving License is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance across GBS UK estates.
• Maintain and refurbish buildings and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Document and manage inventory of maintenance work.
• Assist in refurbishment and fit-out projects.

Skills

18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification

City & Guilds Level 2/3 in Electrical Installations

Previous experience in building maintenance

Manual skills and knowledge of refurbishment techniques
