Job summary

A higher education provider is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to maintain and refurbish facilities across the UK. This role involves preventative and reactive maintenance, compliance with health and safety standards, and documentation management. The ideal candidate will have relevant electrical certifications and building maintenance experience. Flexible working is required, covering a 40-hour week. Additional benefits include 25 annual leave days, pension scheme, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Certification in Electrical Installations or equivalent.
• Experience with M&E systems in building maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, and refurbish equipment across GBS estates.
• Monitor condition of buildings and undertake necessary repairs.
• Assist in planning refurbishment projects.

Skills

18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification

City & Guilds Level 2/3 in Electrical Installations

Previous experience in building maintenance

Manual skills, knowledge of refurbishment techniques

Flexible and proactive approach to work

Familiarity with COSHH requirements

Interpersonal skills

Full, Clean Driving License
