Job summary

A higher education provider based in the UK is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer responsible for maintaining, installing, and refurbishing buildings and equipment across various campuses. This role requires a flexible approach to work with a 40-hour week covering campus operating hours, plus travel to different locations. The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications such as 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification and experience in building maintenance. Qualifications

• Must have 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Electrical Installations is preferred.
• Experience in building maintenance with a focus on M&E systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, and refurbish fabric and equipment across GBS estates.
• Monitor condition of buildings, undertake repairs and renovations.
• Assist in planning refurbishment projects.

Skills

18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification

City & Guilds Level 2 and/or Level 3 in Electrical Installations

Previous experience in building maintenance including M&E systems

Manual skills

Flexible and proactive approach to work

Familiarity with COSHH requirements
