Thames Water is seeking an Electrical Technician for Bicester STW (OX25 2NY). You will inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair mechanical plant and related electrical equipment with minimal supervision to keep sites operational for our customers.

Base location is Bicester STW. 38 hours weekly (Mon-Fri 7:30 am–3:36 pm) with standby rota payments and overtime opportunities that can add £8,000-£10,000 per year after essential training.

Competenze

• Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent with mechanical/electrical systems experience.
• NVQ or C&G Level 3 in electrical engineering.
• 18th Edition wiring regs preferred; training can be given.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Undertake reactive and planned maintenance of plant and equipment.
• Fault-finding and diagnosis, fixes or escalation.
• Install/modify new plant and electrical equipment to standards.
• Record asset information to improve performance and identify risks.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to staff, including apprentices.
• Deliver excellent customer experience and professional service.
