Qualifications

• Substantial paid professional experience as a text-based journalist in a UK-based daily news environment.
• Excellent news writing skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
• Substantial and demonstrable experience of court and inquest reporting, 100wpm shorthand, and media law knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Write sharp, accurate, and engaging stories for the BBC News website.
