Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd is seeking a skilled Multi Trade Operative to join the Voids team in the West Sussex area. You will perform plumbing, carpentry, tiling and plastering on domestic properties, ensuring handovers meet deadlines and quality standards.

The role requires Level 2 carpentry or plumbing, driving licence, and experience with void properties would be advantageous. Competitive salary and weekly pay are offered along with a package of benefits.

Qualifications

• Level 2 in Carpentry or Plumbing (or both).
• Experience in domestic/social housing is beneficial.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Undertake multi-trade work including plumbing, plastering, tiling and carpentry in domestic properties.
• Carry out repairs such as leaking taps, broken pipes, drainage unblocks, and kitchen/bathroom fixes.
• Ensure properties are ready for handover, hit deadlines and manage timeframes for smooth transitions.

Competitive basic salary of £379,870 with the potential to earn up to £43,926

The Multi Trade Operative Role

• Undertaking multi trade work including jobs such as plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, and carpentry repair works in a domestic setting, utilising problem-solving capabilities.
• Typical repairs can include broken taps, leaking pipes, drainage unblocks, and general kitchen and bathroom repair work
• You will be responsible for ensuring our clients properties are ready for handover, working to deadlines and managing timeframes to ensure transitions run smoothly

What You Will Bring As a Multi Trade Operative

• You will be qualified to Level 2 in either Carpentry or Plumbing, although other Level 2 trade qualifications are also welcomed.
• Domestic / social housing experience would be beneficial as would experience working void properties
• A full UK Driving License is essential for this role
