Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd. is seeking a skilled Multi Trade Operative to join our Watford-based team, serving surrounding areas. You will undertake multi-trade work, primarily painting in occupied residential properties, with joinery, plumbing, plastering, flooring, tiling and general repairs.

Applicants should have carpentry experience, hold NVQ level 2, and a full UK driving licence. We offer a guaranteed 39-hour week, company van, fuel card, and strong bonus potential with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ 2 level qualification or demonstrated equivalent skills.
• Carpentry experience required.
• Experience in residential maintenance/repairs advantageous.
• Full UK Driving Licence essential for the role.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking multi-trade work—mainly painting in occupied residential properties—and completing minor repairs (joinery, plumbing, plastering, flooring, tiling).
• Prioritise health and safety; ensure safe working environments and proper documentation.

The Multi Traderole:

• Undertaking multi trade work - mainly painting in occupied residential properties to complete minor repair work, specifically joinery, plus plumbing, patch plastering, flooring, tiling andgeneral repair works.


• Yours, the team and the customer's Health and Safety will be at the forefront of everything you do, ensuring all working environments are safe and relevant documentation is completed at all stages.

What will you bring as a Multi Trade Operative?

• Qualified to an NVQ 2 level or able to demonstrate the level of skills and experience required to be successful in the role. Must have carpentry experience


• Experience workingin residential maintenance and repairs works environment would be very advantageous


• Possession of a full current UK Driving license is essential to complete the Multi Traderole, with a company van provided.
