Ian Williams Ltd. is seeking a skilled Multi Trade Operative to join the Voids team based in the West Sussex area. The role focuses on multi-trade repairs in domestic settings, ensuring properties are ready for handover and completed to deadlines.

The candidate should have Level 2 qualifications in Carpentry or Plumbing, with beneficial experience in void properties and a full UK Driving Licence. The position offers a guaranteed 39-hour week, weekly pay, and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Domestic / social housing experience would be beneficial
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role

Responsibilities

• Undertaking multi-trade work including plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, and carpentry in domestic settings
• Carry out typical repairs such as broken taps, leaking pipes, drainage unblocks, and bathroom/kitchen repairs
• Ensure client properties are ready for handover, work to deadlines, and manage timeframes for smooth transitions

Competitive basic salary of £379,870with the potential to earn up to £43,926

The Multi Trade Operative role:

• Undertaking multi trade work including jobs such as plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, and carpentry repair works in a domestic setting, utilisingproblem-solving capabilities.
• Typical repairs can include broken taps, leaking pipes, drainage unblocks, and general kitchen and bathroom repair work
• You will be responsible for ensuring our clients properties are ready for handover, working to deadlines and managing timeframes to ensure transitions run smoothly

What you will bring as a Multi Trade Operative:

• You will be qualified to Level 2 in either Carpentry or Plumbing, although other Level 2 trade qualifications are also welcomed.
• Domestic / social housing experience would be beneficial as would experience working void properties
• A full UK Driving License is essential for this role
