Mark May is seeking a Multi-Trade Operative to support social housing maintenance across Romford and surrounding areas. You will perform responsive repairs spanning carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling and decorating, ensuring high-quality workmanship.

The permanent, full-time role offers a £40,000 base salary, a company van and fuel card, holiday pay, and clear progression opportunities within the team. Applicants must have multi-trade experience and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Has proven experience as a Multi Trader or Maintenance Operative.
• Experience working within social housing, housing association or similar environments.
• Holds a City and Guilds or NVQ in a trade.
• Holds a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive repairs and general maintenance within social housing properties.
• Complete a range of multi-trade works: carpentry, plumbing, plastering/patch repairs, tiling, painting/decorating.
• Diagnose faults and identify appropriate repair solutions.
• Complete jobs efficiently and to a high standard.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Liaise with residents professionally and provide good customer service.
• Complete job sheets and paperwork accurately.
• Work safely and comply with health and safety procedures.
• Ensure all work meets company and industry standards.

They are seeking an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join a busy social housing maintenance team operating across Romford and surrounding areas.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carry out responsive repairs and general maintenance within social housing properties.
• Complete a range of multi-trade works, including; carpentry, plumbing, plastering/patch repairs, tiling, painting/decorating, general building maintenance
