Job summary

Fortus Recruitment is recruiting for MultiTrade Operatives to join a social housing contractor across London. You will carry out responsive and planned maintenance in occupied properties, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

You will work both independently and as part of a wider team, with a focus on quality and resident satisfaction. The role requires a pro-active, customer-facing approach, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage your own

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a MultiTrade Operative, ideally within social housing
• Strong skills across multiple trades
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Good problemsolving skills and attention to detail
• Professional and customerfocused approach
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive and planned maintenance works within social housing properties
• Undertake a variety of trades, including: Carpentry, Plumbing (basic), Plastering (patch repairs), Tiling, Flooring repairs, Painting & decorating
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
• Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and completed on first visit where possible
• Work in occupied properties, maintaining a polite and professional manner at all times
• Adhere to health & safety regulations and company procedures
• Accurately complete job records and communicate updates to the office team

Fortus Recruitment are currently recruting for MultiTrade Operatives to join a social housing contractor paying £170 per day working across London with a company van and fuel card supplied. You will carry out a wide range of daytoday responsive and planned maintenance works within occupied social housing properties. You will work independently and as part of a wider team, completing repairs safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

You will be customerfacing, so professionalism, reliability, and respect for residents' homes are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive and planned maintenance works within social housing properties


• Undertake a variety of trades, including (but not limited to):


• Carpentry


• Plumbing (basic)


• Plastering (patch repairs)


• Tiling


• Flooring repairs


• Painting & decorating


• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
