Job summary

Mark May is seeking an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to perform general housing repairs and multi-trade tasks across social housing properties in London and surrounding areas. The role offers a company van, fuel card, overtime and long-term career prospects.

You will diagnose faults, carry out carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling and decorative work, and ensure all tasks comply with safety regulations while delivering high-quality workmanship for residents and tenants.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-trade works is required.
• CSCS Card is essential.
• Social housing experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general housing repairs and maintenance across occupied and void properties.
• Undertake a variety of multi-trade works, including basic carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, decorating and associated repairs.
• Diagnose faults accurately and determine appropriate and cost-effective repair solutions.
• Complete repair and maintenance tasks efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with relevant health and safety legislation, policies and procedures.
• Provide a professional, respectful and courteous service to residents, tenants and customers.
• Accurately complete job sheets, photographs, reports and other required documentation.

Salary: £36,000 + Benefits
Hours: Monday-Friday - 40 hours a week
