Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd in Newbury is seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join our painting business, servicing Reading, Newbury, Basingstoke, Winchester and Oxford.

You will work a 39-hour week with a base salary of £37,700 plus bonus opportunities; on-target earnings up to £41,756 with bonus. A company van, fuel card, uniform and PPE are provided, along with pensions and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Qualified to NVQ 2 level or able to demonstrate the level of skills and experience required to be successful in the role.

• Undertaking multi trade work - mainly painting in occupied residential properties to complete minor repair work, including joinery, plumbing, patch plastering, flooring, tiling and general repair works.

The Multi Trade Role

• Undertaking multi trade work - mainly painting in occupied residential properties to complete minor repair work, including joinery, plumbing, patch plastering, flooring, tiling and general repair works.
• Yours, the team and the customer's Health and Safety will be at the forefront of everything you do, ensuring all working environments are safe and relevant documentation is completed at all stages.

What will you bring as a Multi Trade Operative?

• Qualified to an NVQ 2 level or able to demonstrate the level of skills and experience required to be successful in the role
• Experience working in residential maintenance and repairs works environment would be very advantageous
• Possession of a full current UK Driving license is essential to complete the Multi Trade role, with a company van provided.
