Job summary

RG Setsquare seeks a Multi Trade Operative to perform planned and reactive maintenance in residential properties around Portsmouth, Havant and Waterlooville. You will be qualified in at least one trade, ideally carpentry or plumbing, and you must hold a full UK driving licence.

You will work safely, deliver excellent customer service, keep records, and maintain tools and stock. The role includes an on-call rota and a temp-to-perm progression.

Qualifications

• Ideally NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience in customer focused, target driven environments
• Able to work independently, manage workload, and solve problems
• Good health & safety awareness
• Social housing experience desirable
• Candidates must have access to their own power tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance in residential properties
• Work in both occupied and empty properties in and around Portsmouth, Hampshire
• Maintain vehicle, tools and stock to required standards
• Be part of an on-call, out of hours rota (details discussed at interview)

Multi Trade operatives required for a high quality and thriving housing association to carry out planned and reactive maintenance work in both occupied and empty residential properties in and around Portsmouth, Hampshire. You should have previous experience in the same role and be qualified in at least one trade, ideally Carpentry and/or Plumbing.

You must work safely, deliver excellent customer service, keep accurate records, and maintain vehicle, tools, and stock to required standards. The successful candidate will be part of an on‑call, out of hours rota. The rota will be discussed in more detail during the interview.
