Job summary

RG Setsquare seeks a Multi Trade Operative to perform planned and reactive maintenance in residential properties on live MOD sites in South East London and North Kent. You will be expected to travel locally, uphold safety standards, and maintain tools and stock while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualified in at least one trade (ideally Carpentry/Plumbing) with a valid UK driving licence, you should be able to work independently and handle records efficiently.

Qualifications

• Ideally NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience working in customer focused, target driven environments.
• Able to work independently, manage workload, and solve problems.
• Good health & safety awareness.
• Social housing experience desirable.
• Candidates must have access to their own power tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance in occupied and empty residential properties on live MOD sites.
• Travel in and around the Kent area as required.
• Keep accurate records, maintain vehicle, tools and stock to required standards.
• Be part of an on-call, out of hours rota with rota details discussed at interview.

Multi Trade Operative

£36k to £40k per annum

South East London

Exciting permanent opportunity for a Multi Trade operative working predominantly in South East London and North Kent, to carry out planned and reactive maintenance work in both occupied and empty residential properties on live MOD sites. You should have previous experience in the same role and be qualified in at least one trade, ideally Carpentry and/or Plumbing.

You will also be required to carry out the necessary security clearance to work on an MOD facility, and happy to travel in and around the Kent area.

You must work safely, deliver excellent customer service, keep accurate records, and maintain vehicle, tools, and stock to required standards. The successful candidate will be part of an on-call, out of hours rota. The rota will be discussed in more detail during the interview.
