Job summary

Frontline Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join a Leicester team. You will perform mould treatment, bathroom and kitchen installations, void refurbishments, painting, and a range of general repairs across occupied properties with a focus on quality workmanship.

Requirements include carpentry, plumbing, tiling and decorating skills, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Strong practical skills across multiple trades: carpentry, plumbing, tiling and decorating.
• Experience with mould treatment and damp-related repairs desirable.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out mould treatment and prevention works within occupied properties.
• Completing full bathroom installations, including plumbing, tiling and finishing works.
• Undertaking kitchen installations, including fitting units and worktops.
• Refurbishing void properties to meet lettable standards.
• Carrying out painting and decorating to a high standard.
• Carrying out general multi-trade repairs including carpentry, plumbing and plastering.
• Diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues efficiently and effectively.
• Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintaining clean, safe, and organised work areas.
• Providing excellent customer service while communicating professionally with tenants, clients, and colleagues.

SALARY: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum (with excellent earning potential above basic salary)

Working primarily within the social housing sector, this is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson to carry out a variety of maintenance, repair, and refurbishment works across occupied and void properties while delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

THE ROLE

• Carrying out mould treatment and prevention works within occupied properties.
• Completing full bathroom installations, including plumbing, tiling, and finishing works.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience as a Multi-Trade Operative within the social housing sector or a similar environment.
• Strong practical skills across multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, tiling, and decorating.
• Experience carrying out mould treatment and damp-related repairs (desirable).
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage workloads.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Reliable, proactive, and capable of delivering work to a consistently high standard.
