ETS Consulting Ltd in Gainsborough is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer - FMCG to manage day-to-day engineering and maintenance, maximizing machine efficiency. The role requires an electrical bias and experience with PLC systems and automated machinery.

The successful candidate will work on printing presses, extrusion machinery, gearboxes and pumps, with extensive training and development opportunities in a fast-moving FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience of PLC systems & Automated machinery.
• Understanding of PPM systems.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities to maximise machine efficiency.
• Work on printing presses, extrusion machinery, gearboxes and pumps as required.

Location: Gainsborough

Salary: £48,300 + Pension + Life Assurance

Reference: Jo 7527/SB

Shift Pattern

Wk 1 Monday/Tues Days - Off Wednesday - Thursday/Friday Nights.

Wk 2: Weds-Friday Days.

wk 3: Mon-Weds nights.

Then off until Monday to start week

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximizing machine efficiencies. The ideal candidate will come from an electrical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with electrical bias and have fast moving manufacturing experience. If you have worked on PLC systems, it would be advantageous. Also, able, and willing to work on printing presses, extrusion machinery, gearboxes, pumps, general manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
