Job summary

Supersede Recruitment Partners Ltd. in the Fakenham area is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to maintain high-volume production machinery and minimise downtime in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate holds City & Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, with FMCG/food industry experience and PLC/hydraulics/pneumatics knowledge. A proactive, hands-on team player with strong problem-solving skills is essential.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 3 (or above) in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience working within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated systems is beneficial.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reactive and planned maintenance of production machinery and site equipment.
• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repairs.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety and food industry regulations.
