Williams Recruitment Partners Ltd is helping a leading FMCG manufacturer in the Scunthorpe area recruit a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer. The role focuses on maintaining automated manufacturing and packaging equipment, reducing downtime and driving line efficiency.

You will work across electrical and mechanical fault finding, repairs and project work within a fast‑paced, global manufacturing group. Excellent salary and structured development are offered.

My client are a leading FMCG manufacturer globally, based in the Scunthorpe area who are searching for a driven and ambitious Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking, high-performing site that supplies some of the UK's most recognisable household brands and forms part of a wider European and American group.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting the maintenance and improvement of automated manufacturing and packaging equipment
• Playing a key role in reducing downtime, improving line efficiency, and implementing proactive maintenance strategies
• Working across electrical and mechanical fault finding, repairs, and project work
• Contributing to a strong team culture in a fast-paced, high-performing FMCG environment

• No night shifts and only 1 in 3 weekends

Shift Pattern:

• Week 1: Mon-Fri, 6am-3pm
• Week 2: 1 weekday (6am-3pm) + Sat & Sun (6am-6pm)
• Week 3: Mon-Thurs, 2:45pm-1am + Fri, 2:45pm-8pm
• (Averages 41 hrs/week, only 1 weekend in 3 and no night shifts!)

What We're Looking For:

• Multi-skilled background - ideally within FMCG or manufacturing
• A proactive mindset with an ambition to progress your career
• Experience with automated equipment and reactive/preventative maintenance
• Recognised engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
